“ Food presentation and flavors are spot on delicious. The spicy squid stir fry goes very well with the creamy onion specialty. Love how uncomplicated the menu is and always fall back to the Box for a nicely balanced Korean dish. Be ready for leftovers! ”
“ Third Place is a gem in downtown Redmond. The food is excellent, the portions are generous, the cooking is fast, and the waitstaff is attentive. Ingredients are fresh and bright. Everything seems cooked to order. My favorites dishes are the japchae and squid. If you are new to Korean food, then I think the most accessible dishes to try first would be the wings, boneless onion chicken, and beef short ribs. ”
“ Are there places where you always order the same items every time you go? At The Third Place, I always order Honey Garlic Chicken (Korean Fried Chicken) and Creamy Rice Cake (Tteokbokki). This is my favorite place to get Korean Fried Chicken, specifically the Honey Garlic Chicken. The chicken is always fried to perfection and maintains its crispness even while it's covered with sauce and surviving the drive home (takeout). Honey Garlic is my favorite flavor, but Yangnum is good as well. The Creamy Rice Cake is not your typical spicy, red Teokkbokki (although they do also have that). It's like they put rice cake in alfredo sauce with slices of fish cake and onions. The texture of the rice cake is superb! So tender and chewy. I order takeout via their website and food has always been ready by the specified time. There are street parking and lots available, but at times can be a pain to find an available spot. ”
“ Partner and I have been craving some Korean fried chicken and spicy rice cakes and decided to try The Third Place. We were pleasantly surprised! The service was good and despite a little hiccup, they addressed the issue right away. Interior was clean and noise level wasn't too loud neither. The Korean fried chicken was great! I'm not sure if they use a rice flour or something a little different but it was lightly buttered and crunchy! We got Original and a Honey flavor and both were delicious. The spicy rice cakes were good too. I believe every place has their own "style" and we liked it here. Not too spicy and a good amount of rice cakes and other ingredients. ”
“ Great place in Renton to meet up with friends for Korean dishes, especially fried chicken! We usually get the original fried chicken wings and a couple of appetizers to share. The restaurant isn't too big so there might be a wait depending on when you get there. There is usually street parking nearby since it's located in a shopping center. ”
“ I've ordered out before. But finally went in to dine. Service was a little slow. The place was nice. It was kind of funny to see k drama playing on the tv. I love the BanChan with crispy chicken, chefs kiss. Like how do they make the chicken so crispy. It's so delicious. ”
“ Solid place overall. Would recommend for the fried chicken. Service is good. -Garlic fried chicken: an order came with about ~20 pieces. delicious. Good to share for two people. -Seafood pancake: just ok, bread was thick. ”
